Hong Kong. I spent 3 years here as a teenager from 1981-1984 and was keen to see the difference 25 years and reverting to mainland Chinese control brought with it. In some ways nothing had changed, in others it was a completely different world.
My first trip to New Zealand, taking on the world famous Milford Track and travelling around the northwest coast of the South Island for two weeks.
A return to the Milford Track - oddly, I found it easier than I did ten years earlier
A brief one-week trip to Singapore
More a traditional holiday than the usual covering huge distances in a car or walking for miles every day. With the exception of some day trips to outlying islands, an elephant trek and a tuk-tuk day-trip around Phuket Town, I did pretty well nothing except swim. No complaints!
