We spent nearly 4 weeks in Hawaii for our honeymoon in 2002, but didn't do the usual lie on a beach or learn to ride a longboard activities - instead we hit all four of the major islands and had a ball. My only regret was that I never got to see lava erupting. It's still on my bucket-list.
My first trip to the East Coast of the USA and Canada, with a wife and 15 month old son in tow. We visited New York, Maine, New Hampshire (too fleetingly), Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut in the USA, and Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia in Canada.
My first trip to the USA - 6 weeks driving a Mazda Protege through California, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, South Dakota, Montana, Washington and Oregon (USA), and Alberta and British Columbia in Canada. An awesome trip.
A trip to the USA with my parents in 2004 - I got to travel cheap as a result of them insisting on paying for everything. Who am I to argue? We visited California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona.
In a way, a return engagement to do much the same trip I did in 2004, but this time with the luxury of seeing everything in a little more detail, with less time constraints. I went further afield this time, taking in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Nevada.
